You Know You Best
How do you think your everyday habits and behaviors play a role in determining your health and well-being?
You're probably well aware of the changes you want, or even know you need to make in your life.
The real question is; HOW?
Where do you start?
How do you change those habits and stick with new healthier behaviors, such as moving your body more often, creating a better sleep routine, or managing stress more effectively, for good?
How does it become automatic and a part of who you are?
This is where I come in.
What I Can Do For You
As a Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I have been rigorously trained in behavior health, to pick up where your doctor left off, meeting you right where you are, to help you create sustainable behavior change that specifically works for your life; ultimately combating chronic disease and achieving long term health and happiness through lifestyle medicine.
Doctors will tell you all of the things you NEED to do be healthier, but they don't tell you HOW.
Medical professionals are educated to treat disease by prescribing medications, and simply don't have the time to work with you on behavior change to treat or even fight illnesses with lifestyle medicine.
Outside of genetics or injury, most ailments patients are suffering from are directly caused by their lifestyle, and medicating, versus changing habits and behavior, is only a band-aid.
Science has found that behavior change occurs when we get to the root of what's most important to you in your life, and pair it alongside positive psychology; the discovery of what makes you flourish at your best, versus trying to fix a problem. Big changes can feel overwhelming, but repeated small actions are doable and reap huge results.
This is what a coach provides you. Discovering who you are today, and your dreams for tomorrow, is the basis of what a Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach orchestrates, with you always in the driver's seat making your own decisions for what works best for your life. What happens next is magic!
