1st Coaching Session: Create Your Vision & 3-Month Goals (60-90 min)
Congratulations! Welcome to your first step to feeling your very best! You are here because you are ready to take the steps to create lasting change! Here is everything that you need to know about your 1st session.
What is health and wellness coaching?
Coaching is built on a relationship of trust and connection in a judgement-free, safe space of discovery and transformation. A coach is a partner who offers a thought provoking creative process of inspiration through positive energy, while assisting you, the client, to achieve your goals and dreams.
A masterful coach understands that the client is the expert of his or her life and encourages self-discovery through various methods and techniques unlike any other partnership you’ve ever experienced before. Whether you’re looking to find balance, eat healthier, exercise more or just feel better overall, you’ve come to the right place.
As a Women’s Wellness Coach, I will help you create self-directed, lasting change one healthy habit at a time. Women are busier than ever before, and often tell me “I simply don’t have time for myself.” This is what motivated me to create my private practice with the mindset of creating balance, to find time for change.
As women, self-care often takes a backseat, or is considered selfish, but it’s actually essential to our health and well-being. Self-care will also make you be a better mom, wife, friend, daughter, sister and so on because you’ll also be happier.If you’re ready to create lasting change, I’m here to partner with you and be your coach.
What will my 1st session be about?
Our first session will be a little longer than our weekly (or bi-weekly) sessions as we get to know each other, get a sense of connection, and lay the foundation for our collaborative partnership. The time we spend together will enable us to dig deep into your hopes and dreams for your future, create 3 month goals and your first set of weekly goals.
As your coach, I will help you design a compelling and engaging vision to inspire motivation and then translate that vision into realistic behavioral action goals to improve your self-efficacy, increase your potential for success and learn a sustainable key life skill.
Ultimately, we will develop and implement plans to improve your overall health and well-being.
What will I do to prepare for our 1st session?
Before we meet, you will complete a wellness assessment and a character strengths survey so that we are well informed for where you are today, including medical considerations, while also getting a clear view of the strengths you possess and can use to move forward. You will also be emailed our coaching agreement to sign and return.
What will happen next?
In subsequent 35-45 minute coaching sessions following each week or bi-weekly, you will decide the timeframe, we will review the progress toward your vision and goals, explore and resolve most pressing issues, learn something new, and then set new goals for the following week.
