No matter what your health goals might be, whether you’re trying to lose weight or just improve your lifestyle by getting on a healthier track, bottom line, food is the single most important aspect. Knowing what to eat on a daily basis to keep your body healthy and satisfy your appetite can be the biggest challenge, especially if you’re just starting out. Well, we’ve done the research for you, and nutritionists advise incorporating these 3 foods into your diet everyday will improve health and satisfy hunger.

Eggs

As you know, we talk about this food all of the time and there’s good reason. Eggs are protein rich and will keep you feeling fuller longer. Not only that, they contain the nutrient choline that helps support the brain and nervous system. In addition, eggs have the ability to keep your eyes healthy. My advice is to prep at least a half dozen perfect hard boiled eggs every Sunday so that you have them easily available to you all week long. Cut one up onto a slice of whole grain nut bread with some avocado and top with a little arugula for the best healthy breakfast for weight loss. Or just eat on its own with a little sea salt.

Leafy greens

This food has become a staple in my house over the past few years and now I can’t live without leafy greens in or on top of almost everything that I eat. Jam packed with phytonutrients, antioxidants, in addition to vitamins A, C, E and K; leafy greens strengthen your immune system and also brighten your skin; who doesn’t love that? Buy a container of organic mixed green salad, baby spinach and even arugula each week so that you can incorporate greens into your meals each day. One of my favorite leafy green snacks is Swiss chard garlic crusty bread, so healthy and delicious.

Nuts

Another food that is an absolute MUST for everybody to have available to themselves all day long, nuts. This superfood is on the list of one of the 9 best foods to keep you feeling full. I don’t go anywhere without my nuts. Put a bag in your car, your purse or at your desk at work to satisfy hunger and keep you on the healthy track. Nuts contain protein, fiber, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids; which improve brain function and protects against heart disease. I cannot say it enough, nuts are your healthy lifestyle partner. On a side note, keep your portion size to a palmful so that you don’t overindulge.
