There is a reason this is number one on the list; it’s essential. We all know there are people on our social media news feeds that don’t make us feel good about ourselves. So why continue to subject yourself?

Jump on Facebook, Instagram, or whatever network you’re on the most right now and unfollow anyone or anything that doesn’t lift you up. You will feel better instantly knowing that you just made a healthy decision for yourself and that feeling will only improve each day.

A small gesture like going to your best friend’s child’s soccer game to root him or her on, will mean the world to your friend and her family. When you make a commitment, follow through. This will also strengthen your relationships with friends and family by showing them they can trust your word. Check in, send a card, be on time, say what you mean and mean what you say, live by example, tell the truth, follow through and the list goes on and on.
