Are you ready? The warmer weather is right around the corner, so there’s no better time to challenge ourselves to get out of the winter slump mentally and physically. Since motivating each other is why we’re all here, why not start the 6 week challenge; be stronger, healthier and happier starting right now?

We’re not recreating the wheel here, these are things we talk about all of the time. The only game rule is to commit to doing these six things six days per week, for the next six weeks. And then see if you can make this challenge stick to become a part of your lifestyle. So here we go!


This doesn’t sound too difficult, right? Well, lack of sleep has become an epidemic and it’s time to make the effort to change that. Your goal is to get 7-8 hours of sleep per night because it’s essential to your mental and physical health.

Your body needs the time to balance out your hormones, repair cells and reset your brain. Want some help making it happen consistently? Use these 3 natural ways to get into sleep mode each night.


This can be as simple as committing to walk 20-minutes per day, that’s it! You can do this anywhere and anytime, just do it. And here’s a little secret, the hardest part about exercising is getting out the door. Once you have your sneakers on and start moving, you may keep going well past that 20-minute goal.

And if for some reason you don’t have that amount of time, break it up and do what you can in the morning, then finish up at night. There are no set rules other than making it happen everyday.

Take 5-10 minutes when you wake up or while getting into sleep mode to stretch, breathe, meditate, reflect on your day and remind yourself of what you’re grateful for in your life. Committing to this simple act everyday will heighten your overall well-being dramatically.
